Portrait Painting
haha this is so far my most satisfied piece of work. partially because this is my first painting/portrait painting. it's not the case that i have not mess up with paint before but the previous experience was just to play around (like randomly painting on newspapers when i was young). the shoulders part looks a bit more charred...agree? needs more blending on the face too...but overall im still satisfied to be able to show out the contrast and the 3D effect :D

Your image is too small for us to see the lack of blending on the face... :) But you will realise by looking at your painting that one of the secrets to an attractive painting is the contrast in tones... Many students are afraid to show too much of a contrast, but it is really this contrast that will bring out the liveliness in a piece of work... Well done and keep it up!
you should srsly stop drawing wuguiiisss and start drawing this kind of high-lvled thing =)
